This socially responsible practice also avoids the greenhouse emissions of long-distance transport. Unlike wood fibre, bagasse does not need to be chipped so this process is energy-efficient. Not cutting down trees for this toilet paper conserves resources. This toilet paper is also biodegradable, acid-free and recyclable. Suitable for use in a septic tank.

Super single ply

I’ve never been a fan of single ply loo paper, but needs must—out of care and concern for our planet and my septic tank!
As single ply goes this is really good, it is soft and although it doesn’t always tear evenly, knowing that it is biodegradable AND acid free makes pure sense. One habituates quickly!
I also appreciate that it is made from bagasse which means the manufacturing process is energy-efficient. All the better.

Pleasantly surprised!

I had my doubts about the single ply toilet paper, even though I know Mrs Martin’s products are of exceptionally high standard. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. Thanks Mrs Martin!
