Meet the first probiotic bar soap in South Africa. A bar of soap has never been this intelligent. Free and clear of any colourant or fragrance, BAR is handmade in our labs using a hot process and incorporates the nourishing properties of coconut oil, aloe juice, and grapeseed oil.

The millions of spores of clean, friendly, indigenous microbes enhance your first line of defense against disease but also cleans your pipes, drains, and tanks before it washes into our rivers. Ideal for use on sensitive, allergic or baby skin. BAR is a fragrance free, probiotic soap bar for eczema sufferers approved by The Allergy Foundation of South Africa.

Earth friendly hypoallergenic bar soap that is responsible, intelligent and safe.

Responsible because our ingredients are readily biodegradable to OECD 301 standards and we offer refills to eliminate single use plastic.

Intelligent because our detergents include indigenous, friendly microbes that produce the enzymes necessary to degrade dirt.

Safe because our products are non-toxic and approved by The Allergy Foundation of South Africa.

Our products rehabilitate grey water and are ideal for use in septic tank systems.

Our products are PET FRIENDLY.

  • Sodium hydroxide
  • Grapeseed oil
  • Sunflower oil
  • Coconut oil
  • Aloe barbadensis
  • Glycerol tri-ester and fatty acids
  • More than 10 million CFU/ml of naturally occurring
  • indigenous
  • safe bacteria (Bacillus spp)

Directions for use

With wet hands, gently rub Mrs Martin’s BAR soap until a rich lather is produced. Massage the lather into body and face, then rinse with warm water.
