Affiliates Terms and Conditions

The Mrs Martin’s Microbes and More Affiliate Program is a program whereby participating customers can earn money by promoting Mrs Martin’s Microbes and More products.

Who can apply?

Only a person who has used our products before and who understands the technology, can become an affiliate. In order to become an affiliate, you first need to register as a customer on mrsmartins.co.za, and buy a Starter Pack. Then fill in the affiliate application online. Please specify in detail on which platforms you will promote us. You will be notified via email whether your application has been accepted or not.

How much will I earn?

You will earn 5% of the value of the first online order, for each customer that you refer. If a customer buys from us again, you will get 10% of all subsequent online orders, except for subscription orders. When a client sets up a recurring or subscription order, the discount is awarded to the client and additional commission cannot be awarded.

When and how will I be paid?

Earnings for a referred customer become eligible for payment when that customer’s first mrsmartins.co.za order is completed. If that customer subsequently returns items on that order to mrsmartins.co.za for credit, no commission will be payable for that customer.

Affiliate earnings are calculated and paid monthly as long as cumulative affiliate commission is greater than R100. The calculation of the amount will take into account orders that were completed in the previous month and will also include commission from previous months if the R100 payment threshold has not been met.

Payment will be processed to a South African bank account, we cannot process payment to any international banks.

Alternatively, you can choose to be paid via PayPal or with webstore credit.

How does the computer know I am the referrer?

Referrals are tracked using a “cookie” that is set when the person clicks on one of your specially formatted links. You will be given the format of your links when you become an affiliate. You can share this link via WhatsApp, in person, on Facebook or on your website or blog.

When one of your affiliate links is clicked, we will set a “cookie” on the web browser of the person who clicked the link. The result is that if the person uses that browser to buy from mrsmartins.co.za before the cookie expires, then you will be recorded as that person’s referrer. The cookies that we set expire after a month. If the person already has one of our referral cookies set when your link is clicked, your cookie takes precedence. We always use the very last link clicked before a person made a purchase, to determine who the referrer is.

If you do not like using cookies in your promotions, there is the option to create a landing page for you where you then promote that landing page. You will then be set as the referrer for all customers sent to mrsmartins.co.za through that landing page, who complete a sale.

We cannot change or set a person’s referrer once that person has bought from on mrsmartins.co.za.

In which cases will I NOT earn commission?

If you are an influencer and we are paying you to do a promotion, you may not make use of affiliate or referral links as part of that promotion.

No commission is earned on items that are already on sale.

No commission is earned on orders that are sent to us via Whatsapp or email or in person, for us to process manually. Only orders that are completed online earn
commission.

How may links not be used?

You may not include links on your website or social media if your website or social media contain material that is of an offensive, derogatory, racist, political or pornographic nature. If Mrs Martin’s Microbes and More feels you are doing anything that can harm our brand, we reserve the right to close your affiliate account without notice or explanation.

In connection with your participation in the program you will comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, orders, licenses, permits, judgements, decisions, and other requirements of any governmental authority that has jurisdiction over you, including laws that govern marketing email.

Can the commission structure change?

Yes, it can. As our business grows we have to periodically re-evaluate all aspects of the business and we reserve the right to change the terms and conditions, and commission structure of our affiliate program at any time.

We will communicate changes to you in good time. If we change the affiliate commission structure, then the new commission will apply to all commission that becomes eligible for payment from that point onward, even if the referred customer registered before the change.

Will I get promotional material to use?

There will be downloadable material available in the Affiliate Area for your use. You may not change any material digitally or in any other way. You may not use our logo or images or devices in any of your own material without permission. You may not design your own material to be printed. You may customize your digital link with the artwork provided.

Any product related data provided by Mrs Martin’s Microbes and More to you is to be used only on your media as specified on your affiliate application and approved by us, and may only be used for the purpose of driving web traffic to mrsmartins.co.za, and increasing the sales of mrsmartins.co.za. This applies to all data provided by Mrs Martin’s Microbes and More in original form and also parts and modified versions thereof. Any page on your website that makes use of product information provided by mrsmartins.co.za must have a clear and visible link to relevant product page or pages on the mrsmartins.co.za website. Product data must be treated confidentially and may not be disseminated to third parties other than as outlined above.

How can I stop being an affiliate if I do not want to continue?

Either Mrs Martin’s Microbes and More or you may close the affiliate account at any time and without notice or explanation. In the event of such termination, you agree to remove all links to mrsmartins.co.za from your website and delete all product related data provided by us from your computers within 14 days of the closure of the affiliate account, including data in original form and also parts and modified versions thereof. No commissions accrue to closed accounts.
