Mrs Martin’s probiotic dishwashing liquid is eco friendly, allergy friendly and effective against grease. Made from natural ingredients and indigenous microbes, this dishwashing liquid controls odours the intelligent way.
- As the indigenous microbes continue on their journey down the sink trap into the drain (or bustle inside the million cells of your sponge!), they break down food rests and digest bacteria that cause bad odours.
- While the microbes wash into rivers they continue to remove nasties such as nitrates, nitrites and ammonia the natural way.
- We choose to leave out foam enhancing chemicals because they add nothing to the cleaning power of the soap, but cause eutrophication in dams and rivers which is devastating for wildlife.

I have used this dish washing liquid for some time now. My hands tend to be sensitive to soaps for which I would usually wear rubber gloves to wash dishes. However, after being lazy to wear gloves for a few months now, my hands have not shown any of the usual reaction. Rejoice! The lack of assault of artificial fragrance has caused me to further notice (and rather dislike) such artificial fragrance when encountered elsewhere. Thank you for not including the standard “anti-bacterial” ingredients. The cost is competitive with comparable (“natural”) products I have found in grocery stores. Finally, I appreciate the ability to refill my same bottle over and over and not continuously throw out perfectly solid plastic. This is further assisted by the opportunity to return the large jugs for reuse.
